I have Windows Vista Home Basic (32 Bit) running Windows Media Player 11. I recently bought a 3rd party download program (eMusic).
When I cancel my subscription with eMusic and uninstalled their download manager, I am no longer able to update, delete or change my media information in Media Player. Everything still plays fine, audio and visual.
But when I try to update my media information, I get no response. When I try to delete items from my library, I get no response. When ripping a new cd to my library, I am unable to update the information (even though I am unable to find the album information through the service provided, it does not update when told to).
Any idea on how can I fix this problem? Is it possible to fix it without having to reinstall Windows Vista?
