I'm totally new on engine diagnosis devices & how to do the task. I have 3 cars of Toyota, Honda and Nissan brand and running a car renting business in a small scale. Now a days I'm regularly facing different types of related with engine & mechanical faults(not related to engine) Everytime the repairing shop charges a good amount for scanning purpose. The mechanic says its an expensive process to do the scan. After searching on net i come to know the reality.
Please help me by giving a link to buy a suitable device for scanning to locate the problems.
I think its an OBDII adapter, its one end will be connected to the car's obd port and another end with the laptop to do the scan.
Please help.
