take a chromecast on holiday since my s7 doesn't support mhl. This can be an issue if the wifi requires a sign in page or isn't available. I have got round this by creating a wifi hotspot using my wife's phone, but this is a pain and requires her to have mobile data reception.
I was wondering if there is just a cheap miracast dongle/hub I could use instead that will just work without wifi? I have looked over a few options on amazon but am unsure if they are suitable.
